Network shares

Can somebody please tell me how to add a share on my local PC using
VB? so that my other computer can connect and download files.

I know it is possible to send/recive files using winsock the connect()
and so. But I want to use share...

Thanks!

Do you mean create a share on your machine others can access, or create a
share on a remote machine that you can access?

There are a couple of methods. One is shown as part of the demo at
http://www.mvps.org/vbnet/code/network/netconnect.htm

The second is at http://www.mvps.org/vbnet/code/network/netshareadd.htm and
can be used against the local or remote machines.
