More Word VBA peculiarities

When using the FormField Objects in a Word Document I have noticed
that they behave differently depending on whether they are used inside
a table or not.

1. Create two FormFields - one inside a table the other not.
2. Protect the document
2. Copy a block of text (a paragraph) into each.
3. Now double click on a word to select it.

It works fine in the FormField outside of the table, but either
selects the left or righthand portion of the text when done in the
Cell's FormField.
Any ideas as to how I can control this behaviour (using VBA /
options??)

Thanks

Grant
