Converting from UNC to local path

Hi

Can anyone tell me how to convert a UNC path to a local path (if such
one exists) ?

For example, let's take this UNC:

\\LOCALPC\Shared\Documents

It will be the same as D:\Shared\Documents
Or this example:

\\REMOTEPC\Shared\Documents

It will be the same as S:\Shared\Documents, which is a mapped network
drive.

So how can I find the equivalen local path/mapping?

TIA,

Ken
