I have Visual Basic 5, and run Windows XP on my computer. Visual Basic works, but I can't load in any components unless I am logged in as administrator. I guessed that perhaps it was because I didn't have access to System folders, but I copied an OCX to My Documents and loaded it with Browse, but it still didn't work. I open Visual Basic, and I click on Standard Application, and a blank form pops up. I click on the Project menu, and then on Components. A list of options pop up, plus a Browse button. No matter which I use, when I click OK or Apply, I get the error:

VB5 is no longer supported by Microsoft, so I thought I'd ask here. It has never worked for me on XP. I used to use it on 95, and then NT4, and it worked fine. Now, even when I run it in simulated mode (simulate a different version of Windows), it gets the error. Could someone help?
