How to sort items in a listbox without using the sort property?

how to sort items in a listbox without using the sort property in vb.net?

I'm not sure why you wouldn't use the sort property but there are a couple of ways..
1) Listbox.Sorted = True
2) Read all listbox items, write them to a list, sort the list, read the list, and then write the list back to the listbox
