too many arguments to public readonly default property

I am getting an error stating there are too many arguments to public readonly default property

My program is this :
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.  Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click
  2.         Dim Right, Left As String
  3.         Label3.Text = Left(TextBox1.Text, InStr(TextBox1.Text, "@", CompareMethod.Text - 1))
  4.         Label5.Text = Right(TextBox1.Text, Len(TextBox1.Text) - InStr(TextBox1.Text, "@", CompareMethod.Text)))
  5.     End Sub

You have declared two string variables as Right and Left however you are treating them like you would a method/function/sub.

There is a String.Left static/shared method and a String.Right static/shared method that you probably meant to use instead.
