How do i disable record editing on my database table.

2
VB.Net 2010

This may sound stupid or i maybe doing something silly but..

I have my database setup and my table: (EXAM)

I am using a filter to search records:
Me.ExamBindingSource.Filter

The problem is when i wish to execute some code if the user changes any field value in the text boxes. It UPDATES the table.

(for example if i move to the next record)
ExamBindingSource.MoveNext()

The original problem was with the datagridviwer but i disabled all of that now i face this and there is no code telling it to save.

I have also tried to suspend bindings but this doesn't work.

Thanks for any feedback in advance :)
