Why does computer freeze while loading file onto a device using SendKeys?

Hey.
I am trying to use SendKeys to load a file onto a device which is conncected to the computer. So basically the Open windown opens. If I press enter using sendkeys, the computer just freezes. Can anyone help me please?

When the computer is frozen, I do open up task manager to check which program is taking up all the memory. But when I do that, everything goes to normal and the file is uploaded.
