User access to modifiers and user controls...

Hi, i've come accross a problem, and to be honest im not exactly sure how to google keyword the solution, so i thought id post the situation in here.

I am building a new usercontrol that relies on child user controls for the gui, however i only want the parent to have access to it (i.e. people who add a reference to the library can only use the parent control on their forms), I first thought all id have to do is set the Modifier property of the user controls to protected freind changing the access for them, but it seems there is no property to do this.

I know the solution is probably staring me in the face, and if it is, please put me out of my misery lol.

On a footnote also, does anyone know how to set the toolbox icon for a custom usercontrol? It would be nice to customize that :)

Thanks for any replies!

Aimee.
