Does anyone know how to trap f.i. the SelectedIndexChanged event in order to read the SelectedValue from the ComboBoxColumn?

"trap f.i." ??
I'm not sure I follow where you are having issue. It sounds like you know what you need and where to get it.

On the SelectedIndexChanged event you can get the obtain the currently selected item in a few ways.

tlhintoq,

I am looking for a code sample. Sofar all I could trap were the DataGridView events, not the DataGridViewComboBox events.

Do you have an example?

My mistake. Too early in the morning I guess. I just saw "combobox" not "datagridviewcombobox"
