RE: Magnify text box suggestions wanted

P: n/a
You might try using a rich text box instead of a text box, and set the rtb's
ZoomFactor property. Alternatively, give the user an easy way to change the
size of the text box's font. I would prefer a solution that doesn't launch a
new window.

I would like to implement a process to allow the user to see the contents of
a scrollable textbox in a separate window or panel where the text is
magnified, and show the complete contents of that textbox. Anyone done this
already, or know of a code example that implements something close? I do
not want to use the Ease of Access magnifying applet.

Initial thoughts for a solution are:
1. wire the double-click event on each qualifying textbox, because it now
has focus (tedious)
2. to take the contents of the textbox as a parameter and show those
contents in a new "magnify" window
3. or zoom into view a hidden panel on each form, containing a textbox with
a large font size.
