File is opened it allows user to delete the file using vb.Net

Hi,

I am using vb.Net web application. I am getting the error of system.io.
ioexception. The process can't access the file because it is being usrd by
another process.

when file is opened or not the file should be deleted from the path

Need the solution for this issue.

Please help me Urgent.

I would say that the aspnet-workprocess has that file in use, because of
some user's current or previous actions with the file, which can only be
done with the aspnet-workprocess that is used by all users of a .Net Web
application.

You cannot delete a file that's open and is in use. The O/S is not going
to allow that to happen.

You need to take another path, because what you're doing currently
doesn't seem like it's going to work.

/Which/ file?
Where is this file stored?
What /sort/ of file is it?

What are you trying to /do/ to the file at the point you get the error?

Can /users/ get anywhere near this file?
What other /processes/ might be using this file?
Need the solution for this issue.
And /we/ need a lot more information to go on...
