Hello Jason,

First, you may want to check whether the app.config file exists in your
Recycle Bin after the deletion. If it's not there, please right click your
VB.Net project, choose "Add"->"New Item", and select "Application
Configuration File" in the "Add New Item" dialog. This will add a
new(empty) "app.config" file into your project.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<configuration>
</configuration>

Then, you will need to edit the config file according to its original
content.

If your project is anything /other/ than a web application, then there's
a copy made for you every time you rebuild the solution - look for
"<application>.exe.config" in the build output directory.

If it /is/ a web application, then it's off to find your backups with
you...

You might want to look into some source control software, besides
Visual Source Safe and TFS, there are plenty of others (many free)
that you can use. This will help prevent careless deletes.
