Capturing & Sending Keys

Ok, so I'll admit I haven't even started reserching how to do this yet.

So, if you want to just let me go do some work first, that's fine.

But if you happen to have a quick link or want to point me in a direction
for finding how to capture keys from the keyboard and sending them
to the appliction of my choice, that would be great.

Basically, I'd like to capture keys before any other (high-level windows)
application gets them. Then I'd like to pass them through unless they
meet certain criteria. In which case I'll trap them and handle them
myself.

Ok, off to do my own leg work.
