Do you know how to FTP a linux machine from VB.NET?

The OS of the FTP Server has nothing to do with how your VB.Net client is
coded.

Have you tried Sytstem.Net.FtpWebRequest? If that doesn't work for
you, there is indy:

Here is an example (sorry, it's in c#):
