I don't have any messages shown in microsoft.public.dotnet.vb.general. They
were here early this morning but all are gone now and I cannot get them to
display. Why not? TIA, Jim 12 1276

You probably marked all your messages as read in your newsreader?

I didn't know there was a dotnet.languages.vb.general? I thought it
stopped at dotnet.languages.vb?
Thanks,
Seth Rowe

Oh wait - I read your post wrong, so disregard my earlier post.
As far as why they aren't displaying, I have no idea.
Thanks,
Seth Rowe
Thanks Spam Catcher. Let's assume that I did mark all of my messages as
read. Is there anyway to get them back ? TIA, Jim

Are you referring to this newsgroup?

This group is IMO not an official Microsoft newsgroup.

Hello Jim,

If you use Thunderbird, you would just have to select "All" in the
"View:" box in the toolbar.
Best regards,
Martin
That would be great Martin, but I don't use Thunderbird. I have never heard
of it before now. Jim

I agree with Herfried. Doesn't seem to be an MSFT group (maybe it was?), or
at least it is not available on the official news.microsoft.com server that
I use.

Then Armin, what would you call the bottom entry on the attachment?
Jim
I don't doubt that the group is available on your news server. I said, it is
not on news.microsoft.com. I verified it and it is still true.
Armin
there is no Microsoft.public.dotnet.vb.general, there never was from what I
know of Microsoft's news server there is only this one
microsoft.public.dotnet.languages.vb
