Web service and generics class

Hi,

I have the following problem:

I have a class called Representative that as a member called Addresses,
which is another class that inherits from
System.Collections.ObjectModel.Collection(Of Address), where Address is
another class that represent one address.

I have a webservice thtat has a method that returns a Representative
object, but when I try to use the returned object, I noticed that the
property Addresses is a one dimesional array instead of an Addresses
object.

Why is this happening?

Thanks
