Expose my application to GetObject

How can I expose my Windows application to being captured as a session by an
add-in in another application. I have some data in one application that I
would like to import into FrameMaker via an add-in.

I have written the basics of the add-in and it works, but now I need to be
able to lock on to the current session of the data source program via
GetObject. What I seem to lack is the second Application (or other name) in
GetObject(,Application>.Application).

Any ideas?
