DeploymentException when accessing Application.UserAppDataPath property

I have a very strange problem here. I always get a DeploymentException
just by accessing the Application.UserAppDataPath property from my
VB.NET application.
The help for this exception tells me something about ClickOnce
deployment, but I didn't activate ClickOnce. How can I disable it? Or
how can I fix this error?
Please help me!
