I'm not sure if there is a newsgroup dedicated to Vista Sidebar
development, but unfortunately I couldn't find one and as my code is VB.NET,
I thought I best start here.
I'm using the .NET Sidebar Gadget Creator to embed a control into a side
bar. I have had a few issues with it failing to appear, but I now have it,
well, most of it anyway.
The control I am embedding contains 5 controls.
1 panel control, containing 2 combo boxes and a custom usercontrol
inherited from panel.
and
1 custom usercontrol inherited from listbox.
My custom controls appear fine. But unfortunately the 2 combo boxes are
completely invisible, but they are still there, as I can interact with them.
Any ideas what's going on?

Hi there,
Just to add, it seems to be only combo boxes that are affected. I just
added a text box in replacement of one of them and it appears fine.
So I guess I may as well just replace the other with something, unless
someone has an idea?

I've fixed it by making a custom user control for selection.
