VB.NET 2005 and Vista

I am checking out Vista on a spare notebook I have and I have found
that the Media Player control in .NET 2.0 is not compaible with Vista.
Do I need to get .NET 3.0 or will that even solve my problem?

Hmm, I just checked the download page for .NET 3.0 and I see that it
is included with Vista. I did recompile the app I have that uses the
media player control, but did it hit .NET 3.0 or the version of .NET
2.0 that was install when I installed VS2005?

The .Net 2.0 Framework came with Vista pre-installed. As far as with what
framework an application will use, it should be in the app.config somewhere.
I am sure you can use Google and look this information up.
