Windows Mediaplayer

Hi

I have some questions i hope you can help me with...

1) Using the mediaplayer control to stream netradio, i find it difficult to
readout the text in the line between the videodisplay and the ctlcontrols.
If i readout mp.status i get all the info during connect , but when
connected this text stays static even when the text in the line to the left
og the clock shows different info. How can i reach this info ??

2) Is there any way (I'm sure there is) to read out the audiolevel of the
soundcard? I would like to include some VU-meters (Level indicators) to
acompany the player. If i could have a graphic spectrum analyzer it would
also be nice, but i can't seem to find the way to obtain that info....

Hope someone here can help me...
