ClickOnce and add params from a VB6 app?

I have defined a ClickOnce published app. I have now been tasked with
receiving params from a calling app.

If I were to use a FileServer <no menudelivery of the app how would
pass in a userID & Phone#.

These will be comming from a vb6 app but I don't think that it
matters.

I also have to set the starting of the app from a unc.

\\UNC\Path\DN_Test\Deployment suite\CCBatchProcessing.application

Can I just add on myName, 800-123-1234?

I get an error from the RunCommand dialouge box.

TIA

Hi Steve -

Make sure that you keep the application's fullpath in quotes when
adding command line parameters in the run box. Also, I don't think the
parameters need to be comma-delimited.

ie "\\UNC\Path\DN_Test\Deployment suite\CCBatchProcessing.application"
myName "800-123-1234"

Hi Stephen -

After a little googling, I came up with this answer:

Apparently, you don't pass the command line parameters via the command
line; you pass them via the querystring...

Ouch!!! This is another great example of how much a ClickOnce-deployed
application varies from a traditionally deployed (still my preference)
application.

Good Luck,

-Mark
