DataSet in Multiple Sub's

How can I make a DataSet "persistant" across different sub's? Do I
need to declare it as Public or something along those lines? For
example if I populate a DataSet in a Form_Load sub, how can I
reference that same DataSet in a different sub called UpdateDS_click
that would allow me to update the original DataSet?

Thanks for your time...
