Try this:

My.Computer.Network.Ping("<destination>", timeout(optional)

eg: My.Computer.Network.Ping("www.google.com")

Try this:

My.Computer.Network.Ping("<destination>", timeout(optional)
.... or 'System.Net.NetworkInformation.Ping'.
