find a recordset in a dataset using a ComboBox

Hi,

I am accessing an Access Database with VB.net 2005 with ADO.net. The
data are displayed on a form in Text Boxes (there is no grid on the
form). Now I'd like to place a ComboBox on the form in order to find a
record. The user should be able to enter some text (for instance
surnames) and on hitting Enter the form shoud show the first record
beginning with the entered text.

The equivalent in Access:
1. placing an unbound ComboBox on the form
2. code:

Sub cb1_AfterUpdate()
Me.RecordsetClone.FindFirst "[personid] = " & Me![cb1]
Me.Bookmark = Me.RecordsetClone.Bookmark
End Sub

where "personid" is the id field of the table containing the address
data and
where "cb1" is the name of the ComboBox

When the user hits enter the form shows automatically the first Record
beginning with the entered text.

Could anybody please enter some equivalent sample code for VB.NET
2005?
