Vault and Dragnet are free when used by a single user. Simply install the
software without entering any license serial number. When no serial number
is entered, Vault and Dragnet will behave as if exactly one license were
present. Note that this free license does not apply when the product is used
by more than one person. If you have two people who need to use Vault, you
will need to purchase two licenses. When no serial number is entered, the
product will behave as if exactly one license were present. If you enter
a serial number containing one license, then the product will still have
exactly one license present.

Yeah, but it requires SQL Server which ain't cheap.
I think it works with SQL Express.
Just checked, it works with SQL Express. I think SQL Express has a
4GB limit which is HUGE for a SourceCode repository. In fact, our
company SourceGear vault is ~250 after 1 year or so.
In anycase, definately worth looking into Vault - it pretty much gets
raving reviews all around :-)
Checked the web site and there is only a demo for 30 days.
