Need to bind an object

What I need to be able to do is bind an object to a GridView to an object.
Now the object is a collection which is defined in a 3rd party assembly. So
I need to create an object in my App_Code folder that is the collection.
The collection in the assembly is non inheritable.

I need an object in the App-Code folder to be equivalent to the collection
which I can get from a property provided by the 3rd party assembly. Then I
can bind it (design time) to the object and format the GridView.

An ideas?
