at the end of that line the ,istartposition) is underlined in blue
and says end of statement expected. I can not seem to fix this.
any ideas?

It looks like your opening and closing parentheses are not matched. I see
one more ) than the number of (.
You have Any(, Char(), }), and istartposition). One too many ).

Remove the ')' in front of the ','.
