control resolution/perspective of app on different screen settings

One user at my place uses screen setting of 800x600 where my workstation
screen is set at 1680x1050. Some of my VB2005 apps appear too large on the
workstation with 800x600 settings. But MS Office apps appear OK (Excel,
Access, Word...), in better perspective on this particular workstation. Is
there a way to control my app like the MS Office app for this? Or does .Net
2.0 have a mechanism for this? A setting? How to set it?

Or would I be better off getting a bigger screen for this user?

Thanks,
Rich
