Why can't I get the FormView control's Paging controls to show?

I have tried everything I can think of, I have even tried copying examples
from books and websites I have found, but every Formview control that I have
tried to create does not show the Paging controls. The first record from the
DataSource is displayed, but not the Paging controls. I have tried doing it
with both automatically generated Paging controls as well as using the
PagerTemplate, but neither one is displayed. What is the problem? Thanks.

Just checking, are you sure there is more than one record?

Yes, I have done multiple checks, including looking at the database manually
and displaying the records using other techniques.

When a message is posted to multiple groups, only one copy is stored on the
server, so it doesn't take up any extra space. Also, what harm does it do to
crosspost as long as it is only posted to related groups?

It's a great trun-off and, quite frankly a pain in the backside because,
even though you might be using VB.NET, this thread is to do with ASP.NET
and, on the evidence presented, has nothing to do with VB.NET per se.

It's a further turn-off and pain in the backside because, most of your posts
are relating to ASP.NET specifically and do not relate to the language you
are using.

What does amaze me is that you don't bother to include
microsoft.public.dotnet.languages.csharp in your cross-posting list.

So please remove microsoft.public.dotnet.languages.vb from your
cross-posting list unless the post is, in fact, specifically VB.NET related.

OK, I apologize for the crossposting, but if I post only to
microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.aspnet, will someone help me solve my
problem?
