My.User.Name returning empty on XP Pro SP2

Hi there,

Referring to the following URL in order to obtain the current users
login name,

http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...36(VS.80).aspx

It is currently return String.Empty for me. Any ideas why this would
happen?

I have also tried using the executing thread identity but this is also
empty.
