Looking for the correct form


Although I develop the POS in VB.NET I am looking for a dedicated News Group
which relatively developer focusing on developers issues preferably one
which is not sponsored by a POS company

I'm not really sure what you are asking. You are developing a "piece of
shi*" ?

Also, this newsgroup is dedicated to VB.Net. It is a public newsgroup,
it's not owned by Microsoft. They may have started it, and they may use
it, but they do not own it.

Okay, just checking. I'm so used to people referring to MS in a
negative connotation...

So are you looking for a point-of-sale newsgroup then?

Yes indeed

Though I am free to ask any question at this newsgroup there are many
questions that are related specifically to POS systems like receipt printer
etc.

So far I could not find a genuine forum/newsgroup all I found was hosted by
a publisher of POS systems which are the competition and probably not much
help

Got it. You're writing a POS system, and you don't want to post stuff to
a POS publisher's forums because he's the competition. Sorry I can't
help you somehow!
