Mailmerge date problem

I have written a mail merge routine which works fine apart from one
thing. The date on the word document that is created always comes out in
American format i.e. mm/dd/yy instead of dd/mm/yy.

The excel spreadsheet created has the correct date extracted from the
database and the language on the box and applications is all UK.

I'm very confused, any pointers gratefully received

Regards

Jim,

I've run into a situation much like this at work with the software program
that I support. Is the format for the Word field set to UK?

Hi Jim,

I am not too sure if this will help, but have you checked your regional
settings on the PC? I know this can cause a lot of problems.

Regards
Dave
