VS 2005 SP1?

Has anyone heard when it will be release to the public as a final build? On
connect/MSDN blogs they claim the beta ended and it would be out in
december... well its december almost the middle of now, and no sign of it,
the beta build is ok, but still buggy, anyone hear any dates for release?
thanks!

Smokey,

We're on 'Microsoft time' on this one. You know what happens wihen you start
copying or downloading a file? The timer tells you the operation will take
'appoximately' 15 minutes, then travels back and forth across the spectrum
until the download finishes 2 minutes later. hehehehehe But it's that final
1 second that kills you. LOL I've come to understand one thing from
Microsoft.... it'll get there when it gets there. Hard to be patient
sometimes, but this is one of those times.

I installed the service pack ... and it didn't seem to fix the issue with
the user controls (I had to rebulid my project for user controls to show up
correctly).

There also seemed to be some funkiness still with VS.NET 2005 - so perhaps
more work is required? :(

well remember, thats just the IDE service pack, .NET 2.0 Service pack which
will fix more things is a seperate beta... and it's system.designer
namespace has a lot of bugs and the only way to fix that is to get .NET 2.0
SP1 ontop of VS2005 SP1
