Usercontrol does not loose focus, well not when I think it should....

I have a user control, which I enable focusing on with:

Me.SetStyle( ControlStyles.Selectable, True)

Now, I'm Debug.Writelineing "Got Focus" and "Lost Focus" so I can see what
the behaviour is. It seems that the only time my control loses the focus is
when I switch to another application. It does not lose the focus when I
click a toolbar button or drop the main or system menus down. Is this
correct behaviour? If not, what can I do about it?

Thanks
Robin
