Problem with TreeNodes images not displayed

Hi,
We are working on a vb.net WinForms project based on the Composite UI
Application Block (VS2005). I have a strange problem. At first, I
thought 10 minutes would be fairly enough for me to solve it but I've
spent almost 6 hours on it today and still can't figure out what's
wrong.
Using the CAB, I have built a control that intercepts messages coming
from other CAB's SmartParts controls and display them into a treeview
control. The TreeView's imageList property is linked to a ImageList
control containing three bitmaps. My problem is I just can't find a way

to have my little images next to the treeNodes object containing my
messages. The same images with an identical treeview used on a winforms

test project worked well but I just don't know why it does'nt work on
my PC.
It's strange to notice that my neighbor, using the exact same code, has

the images displayed! I tried to fix the problem on my personnal PC and

it works witout any changes to the code or usercontrol.
I removed the DebuggerStepThrough attribute of the initializeComponent
method to be able to pu a breakpoint on the code that loads the bitmaps

from the usercontrol's resx file and everything seems to be ok but
still no images on the nodes.
I tried using a listview control linked to the exact same ImageList
object and it did'nt change anything. Still no images.
I tried puting my treeview on another SmarParts' control and still have

no images shown.
I tried putting it on a regular modal form using the same form that
worked fine on the winforms test project and guess what... nothing
happened!
I placed a button with an image on it and it did work fine althought
the bmp file is stored in the resx file just like the imageList's
images.
I'm out of ideas
Does'nt anybody have a clue?
Thanks
