Unable to debug the unhandled exxception application event code

P: n/a
I have some things I need done in the application events unhandledexception
event. I have some code in there whose execution I need to verify. In order
to do that I wrote a simple button click event in my app that would fire off
an unhandled exception as follows.

Dim x As Specialized.NameValueCollection

MessageBox.Show(x.Count.ToString) 'I should have dimmed it as new to
prevent the exception

I set a break point on the first line of code in my unhandled exception
event but when testing the app in Vs2005 it stops on the
line and shows the null reference was unhandled dialog, never allowing me to
get to my code in the application events.

How can I debug the code in the unhandledexception event?

Thanks for any help.
