net .mail nespace question

P: n/a
When using System.net.mail namespace to send out an smtp message I would
like to be able to send all the smtp commands and their responses into a
multi line enabled textbox to display the conversation between the smtp
client and the smtp server to the user so that he can use it to troubleshoot
any problems. Part of my app is sending out emails automatically and I have
included a form to send test e-mails. I want to be able to see the results
of the send command and how the send proceeded to succes or failure. We
would not be using the localhost buit-in server but sending via servers at
our ISP where we can not see the smtp server logs, so we need the local
equivalent on the client.

Does anyone know where I can get code snippets to do this. I'm working in
framework 2.

Thanks for any help.
