toolbarbutton image looks bad

vs2005 I want to add undo and redo buttons to the toolbar in my app.
I have added Edit_UndoHS.png and Edit_RedoHS.png to my imagelist with color
depth set to 32bit. The nuttons look great in the IDE but run the app and
the image on the button appears to be using a lower resolution so it looks
very sloppy with unsmooth edges.

Is there some trick to getting the images to look right on toolbarbuttons?

Thanks,
Erik
