bind controls to a query

P: n/a
In VB 2005 Express how do you bind controls to a query? For example say I
have a table with three columns. Column1 is Gross Weight, Column2 is Truck
Weight, Column3 is CropId. I would like to display the Net weight and the
Bushels on a form. I can create a query, using the table tblWeights and the
related table tblCrops, that has all the data. How do I show it on the form?
Do I add a query to the tableadapter for tblWeights? I can bind the textbox
for Gross Weight and the textbox for Truck Weight from the table tblWeights
that shows up on the Data Sources window. I can't bind the textbox for Net
Weight or the textbox for Bushels because these columns don't show up in the
Data Sources window.
Thanks in advance.
