Exceptions when selecting from restored database when restored the second time

Hi,

Any suggestions to solve the following please?

I have two connections to sql server 2005;
cn1 on default database DB1
cn2 on default database master

1. Create connection to DB1 database (cn1)
2. Restore DB1 from disk backup (cn2)
3. Select data from DB1 (cn1)
......Successfully selected data
4. Drop DB1 (cn2)
5. Restore DB1 from disk backup (cn2)
6. Select data from DB1 (cn1)
......Fails with exception

System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: A transport-level error has occurred
when sending the request to the server. (provider: Shared Memory Provider,
error: 0 - No process is on the other end of the pipe.)

I have also tried the following (Step 1 & 2 swapped, and additional step 6),
however resulting in the same exception

1. Restore DB1 from disk backup (cn2)
2. Create connection to DB1 database (cn1)
3. Select data from DB1 (cn1)
......Successfully selected data
4. Drop DB1 (cn2)
5. Restore DB1 from disk backup (cn2)
6. Re-create connection to DB1 database (cn1)
7. Select data from DB1 (cn1)
......Fails with exception

System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: A transport-level error has occurred
when sending the request to the server. (provider: Shared Memory Provider,
error: 0 - No process is on the other end of the pipe.)
