Automate 3. party application

We have a windows application (ordinary buyware) which performs
calculations.

A number is entered to a textboxt, a button is pressed, and after 5-7
minutes the result is shown in a textbox in the application

We need to do several hundred calculations. It's a killing job to do
manually. So my question is:

Is it possible to automate the process through the applications handle
(or something entirely differint)?

The API of the program is not available.

Thanks in advance for your time and efforts.
