Difference between string and string literals

just wondering if there was a difference, if so, could I see an
example? Thanks.

Hi
String is a datatype and string literal is the information stored in this
datatype. Any literals enclosed within "". Ex
Dim str as string 'DataType
str = "This is a string literal" & vbcrlf & _
"which is two lines long"
