Eval function in VB.net windows application

Hi,
I'm a VB.net developper and I need a function to convert a string to an object ex:

let F(str as String) be that function

Dim str as String = "Obj"
Dim Obj as Integer = 5

So if you pass the str to F() then it should return the value of the str object :
F(str) = 5

This function should be similar to the Eval function in web application.
