How to prevent the vb.net datagrid row from auto resizing

How do I prevent a row on a vb.net datagrid from being resized? I want to fix the row height of the datagrid. Ive tried the properfty PreferredRowHeight but the the row could still be resized at run time.

thank you. this site has been helpful. but i still couldnt find the solution to my problem regarding how to prevent a row grid from being resized.
