PrivateFontCollection

I've gotten back to this piece of code in my 'little' (disgusting) project.

I've spent the weekend looking and cannot find a working example of using
PrivateFontCollection and can't seem to get my head around the pieces I can
find in MSDN.

Can / would someone please point me to a working example of using a
PrivateFontCollection. Found one with barcode for VS2003 but it blows up
in conversion.

Basically I'm trying to look at several uninstalled fonts (located in a
different directory from \root\fonts) create a PrivateFontCollection and
then print a sample - using those fonts - in an rtb.

Hari-Kari is beginning to look like an option, please help! //al
