Getting error LIBCMT.lib(tidtable.obj) : error LNK2005: __encode_pointer already defined in atlmincrt.lib(atlinit.obj)

HI,

i have ported vc++ 6.0 code to visual studio 2005. During batch build
in debug mode i din't get any error.But if i build the same in release
mode i am getting the following error.

LIBCMT.lib(tidtable.obj) : error LNK2005: __encode_pointer already
defined in atlmincrt.lib(atlinit.obj)
LIBCMT.lib(tidtable.obj) : error LNK2005: __encoded_null already
defined in atlmincrt.lib(atlinit.obj)
LIBCMT.lib(tidtable.obj) : error LNK2005: __decode_pointer already
defined in atlmincrt.lib(atlinit.obj)
LIBCMT.lib(crt0dat.obj) : error LNK2005: __get_osplatform already
defined in atlmincrt.lib(atlinit.obj)
LIBCMT.lib(crt0dat.obj) : error LNK2005: __osplatform already defined
in atlmincrt.lib(atlinit.obj)
LIBCMT.lib(calloc.obj) : error LNK2005: _calloc already defined in
atlmincrt.lib(atlinit.obj)
LIBCMT.lib(dosmap.obj) : error LNK2005: __errno already defined in
atlmincrt.lib(atlinit.obj)
LIBCMT.lib(dosmap.obj) : error LNK2005: __set_errno already defined in
atlmincrt.lib(atlinit.obj)
LIBCMT.lib(dosmap.obj) : error LNK2005: __get_errno already defined in
atlmincrt.lib(atlinit.obj)

If anybody experienced above error, pls let me know.

Check the "Minimize CRT Use in ATL" project setting for the release
configuration.

And why is this posted in a VB group?
