Document Printing

Hello.

Is anyone aware of any 3rd party controls or other products which a VB.NET
application can use to print documents of certain types?

We need to be able to print a set of text files (.TXT), word documents (.DOC), and
pdf (.PDF) files from a VB.NET desktop app. Right now we're invoking the Print
command via UseShellExecute using the Process object for each file type, and that
mostly works, but it can be slow it seems. As well, using Acrobat/Acrobat Reader for
the PDF's can be especially finicky.

Insuring the correct order of output is also problematic as multiple users may start
this print process at the same time directed to the same printer. Using the Shell
can result in interleaved output. We need each set to be printed distinct from any
other set.

I am looking for a product that I can call from my code that would allow me to
specify any (reasonable) number and type of files (text, Word docs, and pdf are
required; other supported types are a bonus) and a destination printer, and just
print the set of them in the order specified.

Thanks for any help.
