HELP PLEASE! Show a default image if does not exist in file system

OK. There must be a fairly easy way to do this.

Below is my code for reference, but im stuck on how to pass the
product_id pulled from the DB into the if statement to check if the
file exists.

Here''s my code:

if File.Exists("img/thumb/" & Eval("product_id") & ".jpg")...

where am i going wrong on this...

Any help would be appreciated.

The file.exist part is working fine, by passing the dynamic id to the
if statement is causing problems.

This sits inside asp:DataList set
